Every year the Hindu temple in Spanish Fork has a festival called the festival of colors! It is so amazing! Basically a bunch of college kids from all over northern utah get together at a hindu temple and throw colorful chalk at each other! They have this little ceremony and burn an effigy of some lady they don't like and we all throw chalk at the same time! The cloud of chalk is SO cool! For about a minute and a half you cant even see your own hands the cloud is so dense (it made it really hard to breathe though haha)! By the end you are just covered head to foot in colored chalk that smelled like flowers! It was amazing and SO crowded!
ps they also filmed it this year to show to 5 million chinese people to show how we celebrate the coming of spring haha
