Cruise!!!

Right after i finish my first year at BYU I had the opportunity to go on a cruise to Aruba, Columbia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Guatemala for 2 weeks! I know it was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!! I got to go with my grandma as a graduation present, and I LOVED every second of it!

During the down time when we were cruising from country to country my grandma and I LOVED playing scrabble! She whipped my at first but by the end I could kick her butt!!! They also had a bunch of really awesome shows and just TONS of stuff to do!


Our First stop on our fantastic jounrney was aruba!!!
where i got to go SNORKELING!! It was beyond amazing how clear and blue that water was! We went out to see a bunch of sea creatures and it was beautiful and then we went out to see a sunken ship! It was really creepy but SO COOL!
The next stop was Columbia, South America! The first part of the tour consisted of a boat ride around the outside of the city! This is a picture of my grandma and I sporting our lovely life vests! and a bit of the scenery!
Then we took a tour around the city!
Then after cruising the a few days we went through the Panama Canal!

The ships are pulled through by these little trains! This is on the seventh floor again.
We even got to see the panama temple!!!!Our fourth stop was Costa Rica! Where we toured a few cities and then went up to a coffee plantation, an orchid garden, and an animal sanctuary! Costa Rica was by far my favorite country the whole trip!

The next stop was Nicaragua which was by far the poorest country!


In Nicaragua I got to go HORSE BACKRIDING! SOOOO AMAZING! The view from my horse! Yes we had to wear those dorky hats but dont worry it was SO worth it! :)
Ok so in Nicaragua I definitally saw a native wearing a BYU shirt! It made my whole trip!!!Our last stop (even though it wasnt suppose to be! we couldnt go to mexico because of the swine flu) was Guatemala!!
